Venus
1\ Introduction
a\ Presentation Venus is a grayscale space shooter game for Ti68k (Ti89, Ti92+, v200). You have to control your ship and use one of the 40 available weapons (divided into 10 classes) to destroy all your enemies. By blasting them, you'll earn the necessary funds to buy new equipement. This game is released under the GPL licence, see GPL.txt for more informations. |
b\ Install and run Send the two game files to your calculator (the .89z and .89y if you have a Ti89, .9xz and .9xy for a Ti92+, .v2z and .v2y for a v200). You don't need any kernel, patch or anything else to launch the game, just type "venus()" in the home screen and press enter to play. If you do so, the game will show a message saying that no level were found. You must have at least one level file (usually .89y) on your calculator to play. You can create you own levels with Venus Level Editor (see "Editor" section). |

Keep in mind that when you start a new game, you have to buy at least a weapon. |
